Learn how to install home appliances, while working on-site in client's homes, as well as in a repair shop. You will also learn how to provide great customer service and office skills such as record keeping, bill preparation and inventory management. You must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate (or equivalent), and have a clean driver's license record. For the first 90 days you will be paid minimum wage, after which you will be evaluated with the potential to receive a pay raise and continue training in the field of appliance service and repair.
As our Appliance Service / Repair Technician you must be able to install, inspect and repair home appliances, work on-site in client's homes as well as in repair shops. You would be expected to replace any defective components found in appliances and know how to dismantle and reassemble appliances to make an informed diagnosis. Other job duties may include record keeping, bill preparation, repair estimates and inventory control. Appliance repair technicians must also have good customer service skills and a clean driver's license record.
